Lighting the Sky
The 's diversity and inclusion committee hosted Lantern Night Thursday [Nov. 19] at Chadwick Lake. Held in conjunction with the 's International Education Week to celebrate 50 years of diversity at ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ, the event allowed participants to write messages on the lanterns before releasing them into the night sky. Dr. Richard E. Holmes, the first African-American to enroll at Mississippi State, attended the event.
