K9 in the Classroom
ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ Police K9 Migel and Sgt. Patrick Jenkins recently visited Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary School, explaining the tasks of a K9 and demonstrating a few tricks for second graders in Hannah Beth McCall's classroom. This teacher earned her ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ master's degree in elementary education in 2024, after also attending ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ for undergraduate studies. While in college, McCall served as a graduate assistant for ÌÒÌ«ÀÉÓ³Ïñ PD, forging an ongoing connection that sparked this classroom community engagement.
